The Korea Autonomous Manufacturing Platform Association (KAMPA) launched at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Seoul on 25 July 2024. Sangho Lee, CEO of IMPIX, was named its first chairman.
An association under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, KAMPA aims to standardise data on global standards for autonomous manufacturing in small and medium-sized manufacturers, and to build an ecosystem in which the companies and institutions involved can work together.
Its core programmes are private-sector-led data standardisation grounded in the shop floor, its application, and strengthening the capabilities of supplier companies.
